My wife and I split our time between Mechanicsville and our river house. We have 2 sons, a daughter and a granddaughter. I am currently a student at Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond working on my Masters of Divinity. I retired from Capital One this year where I worked as a Data Architect in the Technology department after working in the computer field for 35 years.
Scouting, what a wonderful program and something I am proud to be associated with. I started my scouting career as a Cub Scout in Pack 545. I enjoyed all aspects of the program and bridged into Boy Scouts. This is where I had to leave the program due to allergies and a very protective mother. Fast forward to my son asking to join scouting, my response was where and when we’re there! Now, 22 years later I am still involved having; 2 Eagle Scouts, many wonderful memories, lifelong friends and scouts that I have had to opportunity to impact their lives.
I have had many roles in scouting from Tiger Coach to Scoutmaster. I am currently a Vigil Member of the Order of the Arrow. To be honest I feel scouting has given me more that I have put in. I am thankful for all the experiences and memories and excited to see what might lie ahead.
